Game Room

Rochester Wargamer Association and Guild

Come join us for tabletop games! We'll have a mix of board games and card games that convention goers are welcome to borrow and play. Our assistants will be present to help teach, explain or join in on the fun of some of the games that catch your interest. This is happening all day so stop by anytime while you wait for other events to begin!

Fighting Game Community

RIT FGC is a local fighting game scene run out of the Rochester Institute of Technology that is open to both students and the general public. We run three weekly brackets for games that rotate each semester based on a popular vote. For those looking for a more casual experience, members of the RIT FGC are always up to play all different types of fighting games outside of the bracket. For more information, visit our website at https://ritfgc.com/#club.

RIT FGC plans on running four brackets on the Saturday of Tora-Con: Guilty Gear Strive, Melty Blood Type Lumina, Street Fighter 6, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. These will be casual brackets that anyone can enter, along with the four brackets friendly matches for various other fighting games will happening on the side. We hope that you stop by to play during Tora-Con.

EGS

Hello! We're RIT's Electronic Gaming Society (EGS), a student-led club on campus with the goal of providing a central hub for fans of casual games to meet, play video games, and have a blast doing so in an open and laid back environment. Keeping in line with this goal, EGS has partnered with Tora-Con to host a dedicated game room alongside other student-led clubs RITFGC and RWAG. The aim is to provide a space where convention-goers will have the opportunity to play a number of games, and generally just have a moment to catch their breath from the excitement of Tora-Con. In this game room, EGS intends to host a variety of casual pick-up and put-down party games such as Mario Kart, Mario Party, Wii Sports, Smash Bros, and potentially others! Stop by, stay for a while, play some games, but most importantly: have fun!
