Tora-Con and the RIT Anime Club greatly appreciates all donations received. Everyone sees the good that is done when we receive your or your organization’s funding, materials, and/or services. Unlike with marketing swaps and sponsorships, donors won’t receive things like social media posts or tabelling opportunities. If requested, we can let you know exactly how your donations will be used.
-
Tora-Con and the RIT Anime Club will accept all donations that we believe will help our efforts. These can come in the form of monetary donations, material goods (such as manga or figures), and services. If you are curious about whether or not your donation can help benefit us, feel free to send us a message.
-
The way your or your organization’s donation will be used depends on what it is and what use it will benefit from the most. For example, when we receive donations of manga that aren’t currently in the RIT Anime Club library catalog, they typically go there. When we receive figures or signed posters, they might go towards the RIT Anime Club’s annual winter charity auction. Monetary donations may go towards updating Tora-Con’s equipment (such as new microphones and speakers). Some donations will better benefit the RIT Anime Club than Tora-Con, but if there is a specific way that you’d like your donation to be used, please let us know and we will see what we can do.
-
Unlike our sponsors and other supporters, donors do not receive public recognition or other materials in return for their donation. Donations are anonymous, however, all of us here at Tora-Con and the RIT Anime Club greatly appreciate each one we receive. If you or your organization is interested in receiving something in return for your contribution, be sure to check out our sponsorships page or email us for more information.
